Ramon Guico III announced on Thursday that the provincial government will shoulder the payment of their Philippine Health Insurance Corp. premiums instead of deducting the amount from their monthly salary.
'Pangasinan is really different because it has undertaken to pay the premiums of their JOs and CoS,' Adre said.'This is a big step in the policy reforms of PhilHealth. Hopefully, after this, Pangasinan's support to their employees will continue and will set the trend in all government offices nationwide.'Adre said that he will write to PhilHealth top management about what Pangasinan had done.
