A man was treated for minor injuries after a car involved in a collision with another vehicle mounted a pavement and crashed into a building. .
One of the vehicles mounted the pavement, demolished a railing and crashed into the window of an office building. There are no reports that anyone in the building or on the pavement were hurt although one man - thought to have been in the car which ended up in the building - was treated for minor injuries at the scene, according to North West Ambulance Service .
Pictures from the scene showed a white saloon car with its front end lodged in the window of an insurance company, which offers motor insurance as well as other services. The front window of the building has been smashed.A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: “At just before 3.15pm today one fire engine from Gorton fire station was called to reports of a crash involving two vehicles on Hyde Road, Belle Vue.
