An audacious Cork motorist has been nabbed by gardaí after they were caught out with a fake insurance disc.
Complimenting the driver's “top-notch artwork” and “lovely use of font”, gardaí seized the vehicle with a court date to follow for the Rebel County driver.A garda spokesperson said: “This bright spark below in Cork figured he could trick us with this top notch artwork. Lovely use of font. They added a short poem: “A motorist with a fake disc so sly, on the windscreen, it told a big lie. But our Mobility Device made it stop in its tracks when it discovered the car had no insurance nor tax.”
