GOVERNMENT Service Insurance System (GSIS) took another leap in its digital transformation as it launched the GSIS Digital ID, which coincided with its 87th anniversary.

GOVERNMENT Service Insurance System took another leap in its digital transformation as it launched the GSIS Digital ID, which coincided with its 87th anniversary.This enhancement marked a significant step in its efforts to automate processes, streamline services and amplify the customer service experience for its members and pensioners.'The GSIS continuously strives to stay ahead and make it safer and more convenient for government workers to transact.

As of December 2023, 97 percent of GSIS loan transactions were processed electronically through kiosks and the GSIS Touch mobile app, with only 3 percent handled over-the-counter. The shift in digitization demonstrated GSIS's commitment to enhance convenience, reliability and accessibility for its members, pensioners and stakeholders.
