LONDON (Reuters) - Cyber insurance premiums are falling globally as businesses become more adept in curbing their losses from cyber crime, even as ransomware attacks are rising, broker Howden said in a report on Monday.

“The listing also enhances Malaysia’s brand as a desirable travel destination, potentially attracting more international events, conferences and business travellers,” he said when contacted.This includes enhancing infrastructure and connectivity, cultural preservation and promotion, and sustainability initiatives.

According to the Oxford Economics Global Cities Index 2024 that covered 163 countries, 12 Malaysian cities made the top 1,000 list. Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents president Nigel Wong said the listing gave a good impression of Kuala Lumpur and may favourably influence the minds of some tourists.

Wong said there are many things that can be done to positively position Malaysia as a tourism destination.
